Director’s Statement

Kierkegaard said, “life is meant to be lived forwards, but understood backwards'. As filmmakers, one of our jobs is to weave a truthful story upon looking back. We can choose to focus on the beauty, to learn from mistakes, and to interpret that learning as positive. We can actively turn around and watch our own movies. In doing so, we can come to realize just how stunning the plot is.
